The hotel gives walking times of about three minutes to the Palais Garnier and two minutes to the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores. Chaussée d'Antin–La Fayette Métro station (lines 7 and 9) is the closest, Opéra station serves lines 3, 7 and 8, and Auber station is on RER line A.
The 63 rooms have parquet floors and plaster cornices. They range from 14 m² single rooms to the 46 m² L'Arrache-Cœur suite, which looks towards the Opéra. Some rooms face the street, some the courtyard and some the glass roof over the hotel's central hall. The hotel does its best to meet view requests but cannot guarantee them.
The ground floor is built around a glass-roofed hall that serves as the breakfast room, the lunch restaurant and the evening bar. In the evening it sets out counters of cheese, charcuterie and seafood at a fixed price. The hotel also has three private baths with a jacuzzi and a sensory shower, rented for 90 minutes at a time.

History & cultural connections
The history of Chouchou Hôtel
Chouchou Hôtel opened in 2020 in the building of the former Hôtel Richmond Opéra at 11 rue du Helder. The Elegancia hotel group renovated it, and the designer Michael Malapert decorated the rooms.[1][2][3]
The three suites are named after French songs and a novel: La Vie en rose, the song made famous by Édith Piaf; L'Anamour, a song by Serge Gainsbourg; and L'Arrache-cœur, a novel by Boris Vian. The names are a tribute and do not record a stay by Piaf, Gainsbourg or Vian.[4][3]
Rue du Helder was opened in 1775 and extended to the boulevard des Italiens in 1799. Its name comes from Den Helder, a port in North Holland that British troops attacked in August 1799.[5]
