The Family Room is a pair of rooms connected through a private hallway. Suite occupancy varies by age and number of guests. Street and garden outlooks differ, and only named Terrace categories promise private outdoor space.

La Fantaisie brings a planted garden into the middle of rue Cadet’s busy neighborhood setting. The five-star hotel has 63 rooms and 10 suites, with outlooks toward the street or garden. A café, restaurant and rooftop bar give guests several ways to use the property through the day.
Martin Brudnizki’s interiors combine soft colors, velvet, handcrafted mosaics and floral references. Room choice ranges from compact Comfort doubles to a 72 m² Apartment Terrace. Families can choose a specific linked-room arrangement rather than assume that every suite has two separate bedrooms.
The spa adds hot baths, flotation baths and cold plunges, with body and facial treatments available by appointment. The hotel says indoor-pool access is included for residents. For a quieter outlook, choose a garden-facing room; for private outdoor space, reserve a category that explicitly includes a terrace.

History & cultural connections
A garden story on rue Cadet
La Fantaisie’s identity draws on the story of Jean and Jacques Cadet, master gardeners associated with the street. Here Design, which developed the hotel’s identity, describes their market gardens supplying the royal court during the reign of Charles IX. The hotel uses that local history as the starting point for a contemporary garden theme, rather than claiming to be an old royal residence.[1]
The project was introduced in 2023 by the family-owned Leitmotiv hotel group, with Martin Brudnizki designing the interiors. Its launch material describes a palette of soft green, warm yellow and coral, with floral wall and ceiling coverings and richly upholstered furniture. The garden was conceived as the center of that design, extending its colors and motifs into the rooms.[2]
Here Design carried the garden idea into the hotel’s graphics and objects. Its account describes a logo inspired by old Paris shopfronts, paired with a custom script, and a wider identity built around illustrations and everyday rituals. That attention to visual detail gives the property a connection to the street as well as to its planted courtyard.[1]
The current accommodation still makes the relationship between street and garden explicit. Guests select between rue Cadet and garden views in several categories, while terrace suites provide a private outdoor extension. In the public areas, the café, garden restaurant and rooftop bar organize the visit across three different levels of the building.[3][4]
