Parister sits on rue Saulnier in the 9th arrondissement, behind the Folies Bergère and near the Grands Boulevards. Architecture by Beckmann N’Thépé combines traditional Parisian details with a more contemporary building around a planted courtyard. Inside, walnut headboards and closets, ceiling moldings and brass accents give the rooms a consistent character.
The 45 rooms and suites range from compact 17 m² Superior Rooms to a 52 m² Parister Suite with two terraces. Some rooms face the courtyard and others the rooftops. Terrace rooms must be booked as specific categories; the Duplex Suites also differ, with a private sauna, private hammam or terrace depending on the suite.
Wellness is a substantial part of the stay. A heated indoor pool offers a swimming lane nearly 20 meters long, alongside a hammam, fitness room and bookable massages. Les Passerelles serves breakfast and weekday lunches; its cocktail bar and dinner service operate on selected evenings. Pool, hammam and gym sessions need advance reservations.

History & cultural connections
An office building remade around a courtyard
Parister took shape in 2017 through the conversion of an office building on rue Saulnier. Agence Beckmann N’Thépé designed the architecture and interiors, and the project information supplied by the architects records completion in October of that year. The original program already included 45 rooms, a restaurant and cocktail bar, a pool, a gym, a treatment room and a hammam.[1]
Hôtel Parister’s 2017 construction involved more than furnishing an existing building. Structural engineer Eckersley O’Callaghan strengthened the floors of the former offices and designed the steel frame for a new four-story building behind them. The street facade was remade with details that respected its earlier proportions. Rearranged ground-floor openings improved access to the reception spaces.[2]
Hôtel Parister’s courtyard connects the converted office building with its rear extension. Metal footbridges link the two buildings at different heights above a planted garden. A view through from rue Saulnier lets passersby see into the courtyard. Sliding glass doors open from reception onto a wooden terrace beside the garden.[1][2]
Hôtel Parister’s rear extension uses sculpted, painted concrete designed to resemble stone or marble. Timber, glass and planting surround the courtyard. Inside, walnut, brass and ceiling moldings recall Parisian apartments, alongside specially designed wallpaper. Parister credits Aldric Beckmann with the interiors and Céline Boullenger with contributing to the interior design.[1][3][4]
