Hôtel Square stands at 3 rue de Boulainvilliers, near Maison de la Radio in the 16th arrondissement. Architect Roger Taillibert designed its curved building with a green-granite facade, large windows and an interior patio. Contemporary paintings and furnishings continue the modern design inside.
The hotel has 22 rooms and suites in three categories: Classic, Deluxe and Loft Suite. Rosewood, leather and bronze feature in the interiors, and the bathrooms use Carrara marble. Each room has a work area and air conditioning. The Loft Suite adds lounge and dining areas, plus a separate shower and bathtub.
The Nuxe spa offers massages and face and body treatments in five treatment rooms, including one for two people. Guests also receive access to a nearby gym. Breakfast remains available at the hotel, and reception arranges room service and restaurant reservations. The former Daroco 16 restaurant closed permanently in June 2025.

History & cultural connections
Roger Taillibert’s contemporary hotel
Roger Taillibert designed Hôtel Square as a curved building clad in green granite, close to Maison de la Radio. A 2016 account by Roland Escaig credits the hotel’s concept to designer Patrick Derdérian working with Taillibert. Large windows and an internal patio bring daylight into the building.[1][3]
The reception atrium at Hôtel Square was conceived as a place for contemporary art. Escaig’s 2016 account describes a tall gallery wall lit by natural light and hung with paintings. The hotel also credits Pierre Bonnefille and Eric Schmitt among the artists involved in its interiors.[3][1]
Rosewood, leather and bronze gave Hôtel Square’s rooms a consistent material palette by the time of the 2016 account. Carrara-marble bathrooms and modern furniture completed the interiors. These materials remain central to the hotel’s current description of its 22 rooms and suites.[3][2]
Dining at Hôtel Square has changed since the 2016 account, which described the adjacent Zebra Square restaurant. Daroco 16 later occupied the restaurant space and closed permanently on June 8, 2025. The hotel continued serving breakfast and providing room service through reception after the closure.[3][1]
