Le Damantin occupies a brick-and-stone mansion where rue Bayard meets the Seine-side setting of cours Albert Ier. Its 44 rooms combine a domestic scale with a spa, pool and a collection of salons.
The bedroom range distinguishes courtyard or patio outlooks from specific Eiffel-view categories. Boutique, Superior, Deluxe and Prestige rooms sit alongside connecting rooms and named suites; the view should be chosen as carefully as the room size.
A 14-metre pool, sauna, fitness room and treatment rooms form the wellness offering. Elsewhere, a bar, library salons, patio and winter garden provide several places to pause inside the house.

The Paris Atlas · Beyond the booking
History & cultural connections
A mansion between rue Bayard and the Seine
The hotel traces the site to the nineteenth-century painter Léon Riesener, a cousin of Eugène Delacroix, who acquired land between rue Bayard and cours Albert Ier.[1]
According to that account, Charles Ferry built the bourgeois mansion roughly forty years later. The brick-and-stone exterior and the river-facing position provide a recognisable identity quite different from the continuous pale-stone façades of many neighbouring streets.[1]
Its current interiors use marble, wood, brass and tweed within the inherited domestic scale. Rubelli, Lelièvre and Pierre Frey fabrics and classically shaped chairs sit alongside new wellness facilities, while the library salons, patio and winter garden retain the idea of a house with several distinct shared rooms.[1][2]
