Hôtel Les Dames du Panthéon occupies one of the most visually direct addresses in the upper Latin Quarter: the Panthéon stands across the square. The hotel’s 35 rooms and suites are organized around women from cultural history, with different floors and categories using their lives and work as a decorative starting point.

The Panthéon, place de la Contrescarpe, rue Mouffetard, and the Cardinal-Lemoine streets associated with Ernest Hemingway are all in this part of the Latin Quarter. Notre-Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, and today’s Shakespeare and Company sit downhill in the lower quarter, so plan those as a separate outing.
