Spoiler-freeMoira is Offred’s friend from before Gilead and the Red Center. Bold, lesbian, and openly resistant, she becomes a symbol of escape after overpowering an Aunt and walking out in disguise. She is later recaptured and sent to Jezebel’s rather than the Colonies. Offred sees her there emotionally exhausted. Her fate after that meeting is unknown.
