Hôtel Bel Ami occupies a nineteenth-century building on rue Saint-Benoît, a short street in the center of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The hotel has 102 rooms, suites, and apartments, so it offers more choice and more on-site services than the smaller historic hotels nearby. Its style is contemporary rather than old-fashioned Parisian, with a bar and restaurant, spa treatments, a sauna, a fitness room, and a Clefs d’Or concierge.

The location works especially well for a trip built around Café de Flore, Les Deux Magots, Brasserie Lipp, the galleries around rue de Seine, and Sylvia Beach’s original Shakespeare and Company on rue de l’Odéon.
