Brancusi made a portrait of her: the Centre Pompidou holds a plaster of about 1928 and a separate fragment catalogued as her chignon, and the polished bronze Jeune fille sophistiquée was cast in 1932. The edge is 'met' rather than a sitting, because the accounts say she did not pose for him and only learned afterwards that the work carried her name.
